The Commissioner encourages insurers issuing health plans in Georgia to provide notification to each male insured when they attain the age of 40 and annually thereafter of the existence of coverage for annual prostate-specific antigen tests for covered males who are 45 years old.
7
Additionally, they should advise every male insured 40 years of age or older of coverage for annual prostate-specific antigen tests, if ordered by a physician.
