.01 Authority and Purpose. This chapter is considered necessary as an aid to the effectuation of the provisions of Insurance Article, §§ 2-112 and 4-115 , Annotated Code of Maryland.

.02 Applicability. This chapter is applicable to all domestic insurers.

¶16

.03 Home and Executive Offices. An insurer's home office or executive office is the location at which significant aspects of the insurer's business operations are performed, and at which the insurer's books and records are prepared and maintained on a day-to-day basis and where a full-scope financial examination shall be made.
