Purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to remedy unequal reimbursements to physicians and providers by requiring issuers to pay physicians and providers of women's health care services the same or similar amounts for covered reproductive health or reproductive oncology services as are paid to physicians and providers who provide covered services exclusively to men or to the general population.
