Applicability and Scope

These sections apply to all individual, group, and blanket policies and contracts, and individual certificates of insurance delivered or issued for delivery in this state on or after January 1, 1978. They apply to all group certificates issued pursuant to group policies when the group policy is delivered or issued for delivery in this state on or after January 1, 1978. Provided, however, that to the extent these sections apply to group and individual accident and health policies, contracts, and certificates, the effective date is May 1, 1978.
